“Sights of Athens” provides a range of tours, tickets, and services via its website (www.hoponhopoff.cy) and selected partner sites.

These Terms and Conditions outline your legal obligations when using our services. We strongly recommend reviewing them carefully before booking.

By completing a booking, the individual making the reservation accepts these terms on behalf of all individuals listed in the booking.

1. Prices

• Prices are based on rates as of April 2014.
• Unless otherwise noted, all prices listed are per person.
• Prices may vary until a booking is confirmed.
• Children aged 5–15 years qualify for child pricing. Children under 5 travel free if they do not occupy a seat needed for a paying customer.
• All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Payments

• Payments can be made via PayPal using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners, or Masterpass.
• No additional fees are charged for credit card or PayPal transactions.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• The cardholder must be present when presenting the ticket.

3. Tickets & Tour Information

• All sales are final; tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
• Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
• Retain your ticket to enjoy a 30% discount on hop-on-hop-off train tours in Piraeus.
• Tickets must be available for inspection upon request by staff.
• While efforts are made to adhere to schedules, delays may occur due to traffic conditions.

4. Online Tickets

Online ticket bookings act as prepaid vouchers, which must be exchanged for valid travel tickets at the tour location. All email tickets or vouchers must be printed in advance.

5. Print at Home or E-Tickets

• Present your voucher as a printed copy or e-ticket on your mobile device.
• No ticket, no admission.

6. Special Offers

• Website-exclusive offers must be booked online.
• Discounted tours must be used on the same day of the tour.

7. Cancellation & Compensation Policy

• Tickets can only be canceled up to 24 hours before the booked date.
• Unused tickets may be rescheduled for a different day.
• “Sights of Athens” is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.

8. Transaction Security

Payments are securely processed via Alpha Bank’s “Alpha e-Commerce” platform, using TLS 1.2 encryption with 128-bit security.

9. Loss & Damage

• Items left on buses or trains are the owner’s responsibility.
• “Sights of Athens” assumes no liability for lost or damaged belongings unless due to employee negligence. In such cases, compensation is limited to the cost of the tour.

10. General Conditions

• Smoking is prohibited on board.
• Hot food or drinks are not allowed for safety reasons.
• Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Passengers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance.
• Family tickets apply to groups traveling together; splitting up invalidates the ticket.
• Passengers arriving late at departure points or stops cannot hold the company liable.
